Who would have thought that my first real agility dog would be a mellow giant breed mix that wasn’t even mine? Bauer and I started out going to agility classes together, before he lived with us, and eventually, he just stayed. He is a wonderfully easy dog who loves other dogs and is a great playmate for all of our fosters. He filled the “big fluffy dog” void that Chance left. Formally he is UAGI Empty Netter CA CGCA. I had high hopes of getting additional agility and lure coursing titles on him but unfortunately he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and has to stick with low impact sports. He is a therapy dog with Pet a Pet and has started learning nosework, so while his goals have changed he is still a busy guy.
